Marlon Rodriguez for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Forever with us: Marlon's spirit and passion for UNITY

A loved one's spirit can live on in the hearts of their family, friends, and community through non-profit outreach.

Marlon always had something goofy to say - everyone from every "scene" knew him - Mr. Charismatic and dressed to impress.

How did this all come about? In February, I was discussing LLS and LRF initiatives with my networks. The next week, I got word my dear friend passed away. His story's meant to be shared with the world. Thank you, Marlon. xoxo

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Roger Royse of Roger Royse Law Firm have been touched by Marlon's story and would like to share it with the world. We would like to invite you to share your story in a memorial video for The LLS.

This video will be filmed on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 12pm in front of Philip & Sala Burton Academic High School in San Francisco. Please come to share your story and/or listen to his loved ones share their story. All funds raised go directly to:

http://www.lls.org/

Roger Royse is a Man of the Year candidate for LLS and has a page set up directly linked to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as seen at:

Roger also has a campaign site set up: http://m2dcancer.org/

The video will be shared with audiences via social media and events to raise as much funds as possible and also to give inspiration to others to donate and not give up. By sharing your friend's legacy we can change the lives of others- and this is the power of getting a personal story- his body may no longer be with us but his spirit is- its up to us to make his spirit shine by sharing his story with the world. The LLS who reaches millions of people each year, one of the most not for profit trusted and recognized organizations in the world. Is the leader in scientific research in finding a cure to blood cancers.
